Deeply involved in every phase of the process, Korey navigates the complexities of custom building—from permitting and municipal coordination to maintaining close client relationships. His leadership is supported by a handpicked team of project coordinators, designers, vendors, and tradesmen who share his dedication to detail and excellence.
Limiting the number of projects each year ensures every home receives the focus it deserves, resulting in first-class finishes that exceed expectations. Guided by Colossians 3:23—“Whatever you do, work at it with your whole heart…”—Korey believes that if something is worth doing, it should be done right.
Korey and his wife Beth live in Lewisville with their two children and their Cavapoo, Prince. They enjoy escaping to the NC mountains or relaxing along the state’s beaches.

Widely regarded as the backbone of the company, Katie combines exceptional organization with a warm, approachable style that keeps both clients and the team on track.
Her responsiveness and attention to detail ensure that every selection is made on time and with confidence—guiding homeowners smoothly through what can often be the most overwhelming part of the building process. Known for her unwavering loyalty, Katie not only keeps clients focused but also makes sure Korey stays on schedule (a talent in itself).
A Lewisville resident, Katie and her husband Matt are active in the community and enjoy life with their two beloved dogs. Whether in the office, on a job site, or in the neighborhood, Katie’s commitment to excellence and genuine care for others make her an invaluable part of the Black Rock Builders team.

Will Davis serves as Project Manager & Site Coordinator for Black Rock Builders, bringing a craftsman’s precision and a calm, steady presence to every job site. An experienced and highly skilled carpenter, Will’s meticulous attention to detail aligns perfectly with Korey’s own standards, making him an ideal fit for overseeing the daily progress and quality of each custom home.
In addition to managing construction on-site, Will serves as our Warranty Coordinator, ensuring a smooth handoff at move-in and remaining just a phone call away during the first year of homeownership. His commitment to quality control—examining every element with a fine-tooth comb—gives clients peace of mind that nothing is overlooked.
Even under the pressures of new construction, Will’s even-keeled temperament keeps projects moving forward with efficiency and professionalism. A Davie County resident, Will enjoys life with Courtney and their three children. Outside of work, they can often be found RVing to favorite destinations or exploring new adventures—most recently, Will has learned fly fishing.
