I acknowledge the retainer is non-refundable except as outlined in Exhibit C and may be credited toward construction if applicable.
Please acknowledge responsibility for third-party costs including surveys, soils testing, septic design, well permits, engineering, HOA fees, and utility fees.
I acknowledge responsibility for third-party expenses.
I understand all budgets are estimates based on current market conditions and final pricing may vary.
If applicable, I acknowledge land acquisition risks and responsibility for earnest money and deposits.
I understand either party may terminate in writing and that services rendered and third-party costs remain payable.
I agree not to share proprietary budgets, subcontractor pricing, or construction methods without written consent.
I understand this Agreement does not obligate either party to enter into a final Construction Contract.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
